Hi, i'm Raehan Afrilicia. I live in Medan. It's in the North side of Sumatera Island, Indonesia. Medan is a big, modern and beautiful city. And that's my home town. Look at the picture,it's clean enough,isn't it?
At the picture we can see there are some buildings look like European Buildings. That's right. Hundreds years ago, Indonesia was colonized by Netherland for 350 years. And Medan is one of the city in Indonesia that was colonized.
There are many interesting places in Medan you can visit. One of them is Merdeka Walk. It's one of the most popular place in Medan. The special food from Medan is Bika Ambon. It's delicious cake. And in Medan we also have a great mosque, called Masjid Raya Al-Mahsun. This mosque is so very beautiful and strong.
