Favourite Town

My favourite town is my hometown xi'an . Xi'an remains a very important city in the northwest of China even it has not been the capital city of the country after Tang Dynasty. The city wall was constructed in the 14th century in Ming Dynasty . In history , a city was typically surround by its city wall and the moast . Many cities tore down the city wall to build highway and subways but Xi'an chose restore the city wall and turn it into a tourist draw . Now it is the best preserved city wall in China .
Prehaps the most famous place of historic interest in Xi'an is the Qin Terra-cotta Warrioors and horses(bingmayong) the eight wonder of the world . Emperor Qin Shinghuang the founder of the Qin Dynasty and the first emperor in China , constructed the huge underground troop that would protect him in tomb long after his death , andd would also reflect the glory of his empire .
My favourite place in Xi'an is Bell Tower . The Bell Tower is regarded as the centre of the Xi'an city , and it is the crossing point of the four street-the East Street,the West Sreet,the North Street and the South Street . From the top of it, you can get a bird's-eye view of the downtown area of the city .
